Chrysler Building and Gargoyles

Passing by the Chrysler Building, I always have to take a picture of it somehow. This Art Deco masterpiece simply beckons. I also always try to focus in on the gargoyles which epitomize the machine age and evoke the hood ornaments from Chrysler/Plymouth automobiles from the 1920s.

Greeley Square Building




Built in 1927 this building in the Garment District is relatively overshadowed by its neighbors.

Greeley Square Building was designed in the Renaissance Revival-style office building is attractive and prominent, one block south of Greeley Square, but by no means famous.
