Roosevelt Island is an excellent destination in and of itself, its an even greater spot to get good pictures of the Easts Side of Manhattan. To truly take great pictures you need the morning light to provide excellent backlighting, good weather, and in this case, fortunately a Sunday morning so that there's no traffic. On this day, I got all three. Enjoy!
